You will have to restart the Browser after installing; if the MtGBar doesn't show up, you have to activate it via "View" > "Toolbars".
You probably also have to 'allow' the software to be installed.
The homebrewed MtGBar is a toolbar designed & programmed to enhance
the Firefox Browser in a "Magic" kind of way.
Search for Decks from DeckCheck.net easily, use it to get quick access on some
of the better card searches, and have a nice button to search for a card
selected in a text.
See the description below for a full list and description of all the features.
If you happen not to use Firefox, you might want to check out a way to setup a similar toolbar in Opera or what you can you when you use the Internet Explorer.

This is it. Isn't it a beauty?? And so functional!!
MtGBar-ButtonClick on it to get to this page.
Because we are total graphical noobs, there is no shiny logo or even an irrelevant icon.
DeckCheck.net DecksearchEnter a deckname, the name from an event, a cardname, whatever comes to your mind, when searching for a deck.
Yes, this is the same as the quicksearch at the top of every DeckCheck.net page.
Hit enter to submit and it will start searching.
When you have checked the checkbox in front of the textfield, the search will open in a new tab.
You can enlarge the textfield, by dragging the small arrows at the right.
DeckCheck.net Site NavigationAccess every part of DeckCheck.net, no matter which site you are currently browsing.
To open the location in a new tab, hold ctrl while left-clicking or use the middle-button of your mouse.
Card SearchesEnter a cardname or just parts of it to search for it using your preferred card search engine.
Choose an engine in the drop-down next to it.
We tried all the searches listed in the "Essentials" -> "Card Searches", but couldn't get all of them to work with the MtGBar.
Hit enter to submit and it will start searching.
When you have checked the checkbox in front of the textfield, the search will open in a new tab.
You can enlarge the textfield, by dragging the small arrows at the right.
Search for selected CardSelect a cardname on a page, hit the button, and it will use the selected card search to search for the selected cardname.
EssentialsA small number of links for your every day use.
To open a link in a new tab, hold ctrl while left-clicking or use the middle-button of your mouse.
We don't have a toolbar, but the Opera browser is a toolbar-making machine in itself. Here is how to do it: (we don't use Opera ourselves, but didn't have any problems setting this up, so you shouldn't as well)
Searches - Simply add your preferred card / deck search.
It's almost too easy. We will use the DeckCheck.net Search as an example to show you, how easy it is:
Right-click the textfield at the top of this page between "(advanced) Search" and the "Go"-button. Choose "Create Search...", modify "Name" and "Keyword" (we suggest "DeckCheck.net" and "dc"), hit "Ok" and you are done. Too easy!!
Selected Card Search - Either use the context menu after selecting a text (you might have to add the card search first, as described), or drag and drop one of the following links onto your "Personal Bar" or into your "Bookmarks".
Magiccards.info • Gatherer • Crystal Keep • Magic Online Trading League
Select an unknown card name, hit the link in your "Bookmarks" / "Personal Bar" and get your card searched for.
If your are stuck with Internet Explorer 6.x (like we do) all you can do is add the links described in the "Selected Card Search" above to your bookmarks. They work with Opera as well as the Internet Explorer or even Firefox.
If you are already up to Internet Explorer 7.x check out the Microsoft-Site to add searches fairly easily.
If you have trouble with the MtGBar, please contact us. If some of the descriptions above didn't worked out, or you are stuck somewhere in the middle, try to google for a solution.
You are welcome.
